How does it work?
There's a lot of energy consumed when ice transform in to water and the temperature of the ice will stay at 0 C until it's completely melt and vice versa. Solvini's pads work exactly in the same way but freeze/melts at 7, 24 or 32 C. Simple, isn't it?
What exactly do the heating/cooling pads contain?
The pads contain a saline solution that's harmless to humans, animals and nature.
What is good to have in mind when using the pads?
Never expose the pads to a higher temperature than 50 C. If the pads are being washed in a machine, kept in a desiccator or handled without care, there's a risk that the covering aluminum break. The liquid will then merge with air and thereby looses its effect.
Can all cooling pads be recharged in regular room temperature (20 C)?
No, the 7C pad demands a lower temperature than 7C to be recharged.
Why can't I feel the cooling effect after a while?
The cooling pads quickly absorb your body heat and adjust to the pad. This is what we call comfort-cooling!
